Agrusa’s Track record

Agrusa’s Track Record Is All About Offense And Creativity!

Communication Is The BIG Key To Agrusa’s Success!
Head Coach Brent Agrusa is known within the American hockey community as one of the most innovative offensive minds in the game. You won’t here the words “trap”, “off the glass” or “don’t try that” from him. Agrusa believes that American players are not taught the of offensive nuances of the game, thus their ability to be creative and “see the ice” are critically lacking in game situations. He concludes that American players are taught to play in a single dimension, even though the game is extremely complex and multi-dimensional.

Cal Stars 18UAAA Team announces coaching staff

Junior A Head Coach Brent Agrusa to become Co-Head Coach for the Cal Stars 18UAAA Team for the upcoming 2009-2010 season.

Co-Head Coaches Ken Moyseyev and Brent Agrusa will coach together and have big plans for their team. Agrusa has a tremendous track record of success at the Junior A level (see bio) and of moving players up and beyond, everywhere he has coached.

“I am thrilled to coach the Cal Stars 18UAAA team and I know that Ken and I will help our players to move to the next levels of hockey which is the #1 goal for us.” Agrusa will be attending the tryouts for the upcoming season and will be officially moving to Southern California in July. Agrusa recently resigned from his Head Coaching duties from the Kenai Brown Bears of the NAHL to focus more on the AAA level and help further develop players. “Developing talented players has always been my forte and having the opportunity to coach with my friend Ken makes it that much more comfortable and exciting.” For a complete look at Brent Agrusa’s bio please click HERE.

The orientation meeting and skate for the 18UAAA team begins next Tuesday 4/21 at 7pm at the Center Ice Arena in Ontario, CA. Please check the Cal Stars website for all schedules and updates www.calstarshockeyclub.com
