Tuesday Practice Cancelled
Our practice tomorrow night has been cancelled due to a blackout date at the rink. Sorry, I don’t really have an explanation as to what that means exactly.
Our next practice is Thursday at the normal time, 7:30pm dryland, 9:00pm on-ice.

Team Photos Tuesday Oct. 12
Just a reminder we have team photos this Tuesday, Oct. 12 at 9:00pm. The photos will be taken at the rink, so the players photos will be done right before they go on the ice for practice. They need to be sure and have their game jerseys for the photos.
Please keep in mind there is still practice just after the photos are done. Dryland remains at 7:30pm.
Next Game 10/10/2010
A reminder our next game is scheduled for this coming Sunday, Oct. 10 at 11:15am in Ontario (Center Ice). We play the Wave(2) team and players need to be at the rink at 10:15am.
Stars, Wave(1) end in Tie
The Stars score late in the third period on Sunday to tie the game in dramatic fashion! After a slow start with a penalty riddled 1st period, the Stars found themselves down 2-0 with the Wave scoring on two power play opportunities.
Not to be left out of the scoring column, the Stars scored a shorthanded goal in the 2nd period to cut the lead in half. Soon after the boys continued to out skate and out play the Wave in nearly every aspect of the game.
Pushing the pace of the game with an intense forecheck the Stars put the Wave on their heels and drove the game into the offensive zone for the remaining three to four minutes of the game. Just after a Stars PP expired, a wristshot from the left slot found it’s way top shelf with a minute and a half left to knot the score at 2-2.
A tremendous effort by all the boys to fight their way back into the game after an early deficit. They continue to impress with their talent and work ethic. They carry the success of the season squarely on their shoulders this year, and they are showing they are up to the task! Another great job boys!
